This weekend a relatively small team hit one of the UKs biggest competitions, the British 4 Nations. This comp showcases the bests athletes from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, and didn't disappoint. It was blazing hot both inside and outside the venue in Sheffield which undoubtedly didn't help all of the athletes performances, but despite some of the team feeling they didn't bring their A game, we can away with a bronze after repacharge for JJ Francis in the male cadet +65kg kumite. A fantastic silver for Danielius Pavilonis who has actually been taking a break from training for exams, and we can congratulate our new British 4 Nations champion Jorunas (Basher) Gorelcenka who stormed to gold in the male 10 year kata. We are extremely proud of the whole team. We also wish Head coach Sensei Tony Solley a happy Birthday. Coaching on your birthday in a sweaty hall may not be everyones idea of fun, but it goes to show his dedication to the team. We are very proud of him too!
